Lisa Kolber Ingler Personifies Beadantics

Lisa Kolber Ingler’s jewelry is as unique as you are!

Each piece is crafted from handmade glass beads that are made in her studio one at a time so no two are ever exactly alike. Rods of glass from Italy, Germany and China are melted over a hot flame fueled by propane and oxygen, winding the molten glass onto stainless steel rods to form a variety of shapes. The completed beads are annealed at high heat in a digitally controlled kiln to ensure optimum strength and longevity.

Lisa has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Ball State University's College of Architecture and Planning and practiced for many years as an architect. Her beads are characterized by geometric juxtapositions and vibrant color combinations. Many recent pieces are drawn from a mid-century modernist aesthetic.

Lisa is a local artist living in Cincinnati Ohio with my husband and son. Lisa jokes, “playing with fire is my favorite part of the day."
